State/Territory and their measures:

  • NSW

In line with the next steps in the state government roadmap, their stores in NSW are now open for customers to shop their entire home, lifestyle and garden range. The community can be assured that their strong COVID-safe protocols remain in place across their NSW store network, including physical distancing measures, mandatory face masks and QR code sign in, security at all stores to help monitor compliance and the capping of customer numbers at a one per 10 metre density limit. Customers can also continue to use their contactless Drive & Collect and delivery options if they prefer.

Cafes are open for take away only. From this weekend, they’ll be welcoming community groups back to their stores in NSW for the return of the sausage sizzle. Customers will be required to register their visit by using QR codes located at and near the entrance as well as throughout their stores.

  • ACT

From Friday 22 October, stores will reopen for all customers to shop from their entire home, lifestyle and garden range. Customers can still purchase the items they need online, using Bunnings’ Click & Deliver or contactless Drive & Collect service, where products can be ordered online and collected from Bunnings’ car parks, without customers needing to get out of their car. Please note that due to a high volume of online orders, there may be a delay in fulfilling your order. Their team is working hard to prepare orders as quickly as possible. Collection and delivery timeframes for your local store will be updated regularly and clearly displayed when adding products to your cart. Since the outset of COVID-19 they have followed the latest government health advice and we thank customers for their understanding. In line with the latest Government and public health advice, face masks will be mandatory for team and customers in all ACT stores, unless medically exempt. Cafes are open for takeaway only. Sausage sizzles have resumed in ACT stores. Volunteers are required to wear a mask. QR codes are displayed at the entrance of their ACT stores. Customers are required to check-in to register their visit.

  • VIC

All stores across regional Victoria are open to all customers, but this includes extensive physical distancing measures, mandatory face masks indoors, checking in requirements, security to help monitor compliance and the capping of customer numbers to maintain density limits. This may mean you experience a short wait before entering stores. Customers can still purchase the items they need online, using Bunnings’ Click & Deliver or contactless Drive & Collect service.

Cafés will be open for both dine in and take away. Customers who dine in will be required to show proof of vaccination when requested by a café team member. This only applies to people over 16 years of age. Sausage sizzles will return progressively from this weekend as their store teams book groups in and take them through the health and safety requirements in line with the VIC reopening roadmap. They expect to have most stores back up and running over the next few weeks. Customers will be required to register their visit by using QR codes located at and near the entrance as well as throughout our stores. Drive & Collect is a contactless service that allows customers to purchase items online and arrange a convenient time to collect them from a Bunnings car park, without needing to get out of their car. It's available at all Victorian Bunnings stores.
