Target shoppers in Queensland should be aware that all department stores statewide will be closed on May 4, as Labour Day is an enforced public holiday for major retailers. If you are shopping in the Northern Territory, Target branches will remain open for May Day, normally operating on a shortened public holiday schedule. In all other parts of Australia, May 4 is not recognised as a public holiday, and standard Monday opening hours will be observed without interruption.
